Leo the Lop    Leo the Lop #1 /    Serendipity  S eries By Steven Cosgrove Illustrated by Robin James Leo lived in a soft green corner of the forest with a bunch of baby bunnies. They were all different colors and had ears that stood up, but Leo's ears hung down. No one noticed the difference at first but as they got older the other bunnies noticed that Leo's hung down.  Leo's difference made him feel that he was not normal.  Leo was determined to force his ears up until a kindly possum offered Leo and the other baby bunnies some words of wisdom about normal.  Now Doreen and Duncan know all about differences - their little sister Mariella has long hair instead of short hair like they have.  This is an 8-Paws reviewed book, in the opinion of our reviewers Doreen and Duncan who each gave it 4-paws. Invasion of the Unicorns by David Biedrzycki Earth has been invaded, well, not really but an advance scout has arrived to decide if an invasion is a good idea. And no one will ever know who or what he truly is. That's right, Special Agent Bubble 07  blends in with the local Earth population because his appearance is that of a cute plush unicorn toy.  This a fun story in which a cute Unicorn is faced with a choice - invade earth or stay there and pretend to  be a stuffed toy in a child's room. The illustrations make this story. The illustrations are colorful but muted. This is an 8-Paws reviewed book, in the opinion of our reviewers Doreen and Duncan who each gave it 4-paws. Doreen and Duncan had fun as Special Agent Bubble 07  learned about Earth and pretended that he was a stuffed toy.
