They were all different colors and had ears that stood up, but Leo's ears hung down. And no one will ever know who or what he truly is. That's right, Special Agent Bubble 07  blends in with the local Earth population because his appearance is that of a cute plush unicorn toy.  This a fun story in which a cute Unicorn is faced with a choice - invade earth or stay there and pretend to  be a stuffed toy in a child's room. The illustrations make this story. The illustrations are colorful but muted. This is an 8-Paws reviewed book, in the opinion of our reviewers Doreen and Duncan who each gave it 4-paws. She has a bond with it, the animals, the trees,  the life that thrives within it.  But one day she comes upon something. Something has happened and the trees are gone. Ugly stumps are all that remains. Zonia can feel the rainforest's pain, the destruction of life.  It needs her help and she is willing to answer its need, its call to her.  Zonia's Rain Forest   is an early lesson in conservation for young readers / listeners. The last pages give readers some background information about Zonia's people the Ashaninka  and the Amazon . We also learn about threats to the Amazon and who Zonia's animal friends are. The illustrations though colorful have a muted quality to them which suits the story and its flow. Shady Baby stands up for other kids when some not-so-nice kids pick on them. By her actions, Shady Baby leads by example. This book has illustrations that perfectly go with the story. The illustrations are colorful and eye-catching and will hold the attention of young readers (or listeners). Doreen and Duncan each give this book 4-paws so Shady Baby  gets an 8-paw review from this literary sibling duo.  Be sure to follow Shady Baby's example and be kind to others and wearing sunglasses outside is more than a fashion statement!
