Little Vole has her days planned out with no variety whatsoever. But doing the same thing over and over just gets a little boring - at least that's what Doreen and Duncan think. But does Little Vole think her life is boring? Evidently, she does because one day she plans a trip. 

But the map Little Vole draws doesn't take into account a large rock that refuses to move out of her path. Little Vole is not happy - now her carefully planned trip is going all wrong. With her plans going wrong can anything fix Little Vole's trip?

This is an 8-Paws reviewed book, in the opinion of our reviewers Doreen and Duncan who each gave it 4-paws. Doreen and Duncan learned that it is better to not always plan out your day sometimes it is better to just enjoy as it happens.

About the Book:

Little Vole plans her time very carefully. Each day starts with the same exercise routine. Each day she eats the same stinky cheese snack. And each day ends the same way, sleeping on the left side of her cozy bed. Day in and day out, this is Vole's routine. 

But one day Vole wakes up and wants something different. She wants an adventure--a trip! So Vole starts to plan. She draws a map. She picks the ideal halfway spot to eat her snack. And she knows exactly what she will say at the end of her trip. "This is just as I imagined it." 

Vole sets out on her perfectly planned adventure and things are going well. But sometimes perfectly planned adventures don't go perfectly. Unexpectedly, Vole comes to a ginormous, selfish, refuses-to-move rock that is blocking her way to her lovely adventure. How unfair! But is it? Maybe life can be better when some things don't go according to plan.

Invasion of the Unicorns by David Biedrzycki Earth has been invaded, well, not really but an advance scout has arrived to decide if an invasion is a good idea. And no one will ever know who or what he truly is. That's right, Special Agent Bubble 07  blends in with the local Earth population because his appearance is that of a cute plush unicorn toy.  This a fun story in which a cute Unicorn is faced with a choice - invade earth or stay there and pretend to  be a stuffed toy in a child's room.
